Register your school

Go to Sign Up, choose School, and enter your school name and a teacher email. No card needed.

Set your Teacher PIN

From the Teacher Dashboard, set a 4-digit PIN. This protects settings and reports on shared devices.

Bulk add pupils

In the Pupils tab, paste your class list (one pupil per line, optional class name after a comma). All profiles created instantly.

Open on a shared device

Pupils select their name from the home screen. No pupil logins, no passwords for children.

Track from the dashboard

Watch live progress, leaderboards and per-topic scores as pupils complete quizzes.

School account

One login per school. Use a shared staff email (e.g. [email protected]) so any teacher can sign in.

Teacher PIN

A 4-digit PIN protects the Teacher Dashboard on shared classroom devices. Pupils see only the quiz interface.

Pupil profiles

Pupils have a first-name profile only — no email, no password. GDPR-friendly: no personal data is ever collected from children.

Classes

Tag each pupil with a class name (e.g. 6A, 6B). Filter all reports and leaderboards by class.

Adding pupils

From the Teacher Dashboard, open the Pupils tab. You can:

Add one pupil — type the name and (optionally) the class.
Bulk add — paste a list, one pupil per line. To set the class, add a comma after the name.
Rename a pupil at any time without losing their progress.
Move a pupil to a different class with one click.
Remove a pupil when they leave (their data is anonymised on deletion).

Starter activity

Run a 2-minute Speed Round at the start of the lesson — perfect for arithmetic warm-ups or fronted-adverbial drills.

Targeted topic

Select a single topic (e.g. Fractions) for whole-class focus, or let pupils pick their weakest area.

Wrong-answer retry

Every wrong answer is stored and re-served in future sessions until the pupil gets it right.

Leaderboards

Show the class leaderboard on the whiteboard at the end of each session — XP, stars, accuracy and streaks.

Reports

Open any pupil's report from the dashboard for per-topic best scores, recent quiz history and trend.

Homework

Pupils can carry on at home — share the school login or use parent accounts where needed.

Subscriptions & trials

Free tier — your first 5 pupils are free forever, no card needed.
Paid tiers — unlock larger class sizes with a monthly or yearly plan (yearly saves ~17%). See pricing.
Trial codes — request a 30-day trial activation code from Contact us. Enter it under Settings → Premium activation.
Renewals — yearly subscribers receive an email reminder before expiry.
Cancellations — cancel any time from the Stripe portal link in your dashboard.

Devices & technical

Web app — runs in any modern browser on Windows, Mac, ChromeOS, iPad and Android tablets. No app-store install required.
Whiteboard — works on Smartboards and projector displays.
Offline — an internet connection is required for sync; quizzes themselves are lightweight.
Filtering — whitelist https://satstars.uk in your school's web filter.
Data & GDPR — only first names of pupils are stored. Read the full Privacy Policy.
